Master Of Accountancy Program Options
Stetson University offers three excellent options for earning a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree. These options provide full time as well as part time programs. All will meet the education requirements in most states for CPA certification.
The DeLand program provides more elective courses whereas the other programs are locked step and do not provide elective course options. Each of the programs has thirty credit hours of instruction.
Our original program is located on our beautiful DeLand campus and is taught in the Lynn Business Center. The program is primarily a full time program although a part time option is available. Classes are offered during the day in Fall, Spring and Summer semesters and the program is designed to be completed in one calendar year.
The program requires eighteen hours of accounting courses and provides accounting and/or business electives for the remaining twelve hours. The program is not designed for individuals working full-time because most of the classes are offered only during the day.

We will now be offering the MAcc program at the Stetson Center at Celebration. This program is intended for working professionals and courses are offered on Saturdays as well as one online course.
This is a locked step program that includes twenty seven hours of accounting and one international finance course. The program meets three Saturdays a month and classes are suspended during the normal accounting busy season (January through mid-April). Classes begin in May of each year and the program ends in September of the following year. If space is available, students may enter the program at any time. This is a limited enrollment program with small class size.
